Ratings and other news...

Jimmy John's Gourmet Sandwiches is going to be a primary sponsor for the #33 Nationwide Series car for 10 races.  Kevin Harvick owns the car and is going to drive with that car as a sponsor for a couple of races.

U.S. Chrome Corporation is also going to help sponsor the Boris Said entry for the Daytona 500.

The Budweiser Shootout scored a 4.1 rating and the Sunday qualifying got a 2.1 rating.  Both ratings are down from last year.

NASCAR Now Note:

Rick Clark Motorsports and No Fear Racing are merging.  This is going to mean that Boris Said is going to have the chance of racing in at least 12 more Sprint cup races in 2009.  This will be one of the only minority owner based teams in NASCAR.
