At the start of the NASCAR now show it was stated that the #8 team driven by Aric Almirola has ceased operations.  Around 40-50 people have been effected by this.  The economy and sponsorship problems are to blame for this move.

SpeedTV reports that Camping World wants to stay on as a sponsor for the Truck Series.

The Nationwide Series race on Saturday picked up a 1.4 rating,  That is down from the 1.8 rating it got last year.
