The Pit Stop

Texas thoughts and other thoughts...

It was real nice to see Jeff Gordon back in the winners circle again.  It truly is ironic as Jeff said to win his first race in 47 tries at a track he never one at.

If it was not for getting a lap down I felt David Reutiman had a top five car.  If it was not for a bad last pit stop it could have been Carl Edwards winning the race.

Kevin Harvick sure did have a junker of car at Texas.

Those long green flag run sure did make for a bit of a boring race.

NYC and Las Vegas may be nice places to hold the year end banquet, but I think the best place in the whole USA to hold thing if possible is the NASCAR Hall Of Fame.

I do not want to have driver talk quite, you never know when you will get a another gem from Kurt Busch or Kyle Petty.

Late Monday news note:

John Andretti will be in the #43 car for the Indy 500.
