Carl Edwards, Jeff Gordon, Brad Keselowski, and other news...

Goodyear is going to have an additional tire test at Indy due to some inconsistant results they have gotten.  They are still getting blisters on the tires.  Ryan Newman sasy they can go 18 laps on set of tires.  That is below the around 30 laps needed for a full fuel run.

Brad Keselowski is looking for a long term deal with Hendrick Motorsports.  He would wind up in the #5 car next if Mark Martin steps down.  Another scenario which looks more likely is that he winds up as a third car for Stewart HAAS racing in 2010

Carl Edwards has spoken with NASCAR officials this week on the Talladega wreck.

The AP reports that an MRI done on Jeff Gordon shows that he has mild arthritis in his back.

The primary sponsor this week for Robby Gordon is Energizer Batteries.

Westerman Cos. is going to sponsor the #40 Nationwide Series Car owned by Key Motorsports. The races are at Kentucky Speedway in June 13, O'Reilly Race Park in July, Bristol Motor Speedway in August, Richmond International Raceway in September, and Lowe's Motor Speedway in October.

Seats at the Oldfield and Lockhart Grandstands at Daytona for the July Sprint Cup race are going to be 40 bucks now, they used to sell for 55 bucks.
