My team rankings so far after Lowes.

For the major teams and one minor one this is how I am ranking them:

Stewart Haas Racing: A+.

Both drivers are in the chase and Tony Stewart has already picked up one win so far even if it did not give him any points.  The have fully exceeded every expectation so far inh what the team was supposed to do.

Hendrick Motorsports: A-

They have three out of four drivers in the chase.  Mark Martin has picked up two wins this year and Jeff Gordon picked up a win at Texas.  Even Jimmie has a win. Dale Earnhardt Jr. though has been a drag this year.

Joe Gibbs Racing: B+

This team has two drivers in the chase.  Kyle Busch already has three wins this year.  The new driver Joey Logano in the past few weeks has fi9nally shown that he can pull in quality finishes.

Michael Waltrip Racing & JTG Racing: B

Both teams get this same rating.  Marcos Ambrose for JTG Racing has shown this year he is more than a road course racer. Michael Walltrip Racing has David Reutimann as a solid driver that could make the chase.  Both drivers have exceeded expectations for me.

Roush Fenway Racing:: B-

Even though three Roush drivers are in the chase, after week two the performance has been lacking big time.  Matt Kenseth is the only driver in the group that has wins.  David Ragan has been a flop so far this year down to 32nd in points.

Richard Childress Racing and DEI: C+

Both teams get this rating.  This group is not really living up to expectations.  Only Jeff Burton is in the chase right now.  Clint Boyer and Kevin Harvick have no wins and no really consistency in the top 10.

DEI has two drivers that are chase worthy with Juan Pablo Montoya really having a solid year.  Martin Truex Jr. though needs more quality finishes though.

Richard Petty Motorsports and Red Bull Racing:  C

They really only have one chase worthy driver now in Kasey Kahne.  A.J.Allmendinger started out great and has tailed off big time.

Red Bull Racing also has only one chase worthy driver in Brian Vickers but Scott Speed has not perfeormed well at all.

Phoenix Racing: C-

They have only ben in 8 races this season, but have one win.  Most of the other finishes though have been 35th and worse.
