The Nationwide Series drivers have made it Bristol for some short track racing for the Food City 250.  Earlier in the day Brad Keselowski won the poll for the race.

"Our Holiday Inn Chevrolet is pretty good," Clint Boyer. Carl Edwards stated that his car was faster than he thought it would be.  Kyle Busch stated that he did not have a good qualifying run.

At the drop of the green flag Brad Keselowski won the race to first with Carl Edwards stuck in second place.  Around lap five though it was Matt Kenseth spinning out for caution one on the night.

The green flag drops and Brad get the best of Carl again for first place.  In a few laps it was Justin Allgaier moving into second place. At lap 26 it was Matt Carter spinning out, but no caution coming out though.  4 more laps go by and the caution does come out.

"Just got together with the sixty sixty," said Kasey Kahne.  He went behind the wall to replace his radiator.

At the drop of the green flag a battle for lead occurred that ended badly as Keselowski winds up hitting the car of Justin Allgaier destroying his car and spinning him out to bring out the caution.  NASCAR told Brad to come down to fix damage on his car.

Justin stated that this was not way he wanted to finish this week.

At the drop of the flag Carl Edwards was the driver to win the race to first, but it was not long and it was Kevin Harvick in the lead with Kyle Busch in second.

At lap 52 Kyle Busch just took the lead of the race, but then wound up smacking into the slow car of Chase Austin who was pulling down on the race track.  In the back Reed Sorenson wound up getting a some good damage.  This brought out the red flag due to debris and oil from Kyle's car on the track.

Reed Sorenson stated as soon as I touched the break I was sideways.  Chase Austin stated the he had no way to keep his car on the top of the race track.  Goodyear stated a piece of the suspension got into the tire destroying it.

After a lengthy red flag green flag racing started again and Kevin Harvick won the race to first place with Carl Edwards in second.  Green flag racing did not last long though and on lap 64 Brad Coleman blows a tire sending him into the wall.

After the green flag dropped we finally got a good flag run with Kevin Harvick leading more laps.  Brad Keselowski though was marching his way quickly up the field and was around 8th place at lap 100.

Kyle Busch though came out onto the track around lap 130 but was 53 laps back.

At lap 137 the caution comes out as leader Kevin Harick nudges Trevor Bayne out of the way spinning him out and with nowhere to go was Danny O'Quinn.   This caution was the one that brought in all the cars on the lead lap.  Carl Edwards was able to beat Kevin Harvick off of pit road.

At the drop of the green flag Brendan Gaughan and Carl Edwards were fighting for first place and it took a few laps before Carl won the fight for first.  Then David Ragan took over second place.

The next caution came out on lap 163 for the cars of Brian Scott and Peyton Sellers.  Peyton got loose and nowhere to go was Brian.  At the time of the caution Brad Keselowski was all the way back to third place.

This time after the green flag dropped Carl quickly took the lead of the race.  After a number of green flag laps the leaders got in traffic and David Ragan at lap 197 was to finally lead the race.  The next caution finally comes out with only 8 laps left for debris out on the track.

This brought out the green/white checker finish.  After a couple of false starts racing action started again.  David Ragan was able to get to first place first and then Brad Keselowski got into third.  On the final lap a car wreck finished the race.

"A fun night." Said David Ragan.  He stated around lap 160 was time he knew he had a car that could win the race.

Brad Keselowski stated that he was racing a little bit too hard when it came to his hit with Justin Allgaier.

At the end of the race Carl Edwards was bale to cut into the lead Kyle Busch big time and dropped it around 90 points down to 248 points.
