Fireworks in the final laps.

Nationwide Series drivers are back again at the Motor City for the Car FAX 250.  Brian Vickers who won the poll for the Sprint Cup race also won the poll for this race as well.

"Never really ran good close to home," said Brad Keselowski.

At the drop of the green flag it was Brian Vickers in the lead, but green flag did not last long and on lap three Trevor Bayne and Carl Edwards get together.  Edwards then gets loose and hits Trevor Bayne.  Trevor was able to move on, Carl was not.

"Very frustrating," said Carl.  He stated that he did not give Trevor enough room.

This led to the first long green flag run of the day where Kyle Busch got to lead a few laps and then Brian Vickers got to lead again and broke out to a five second plus lead.

Green flag pit stop started to occur on lap 42.  A bunch of cars pitted and then the caution came out on lap 45.

During the caution period the transmission went away on the Denny Hamlin car.  When the green flag dropped again it was Brian Vickers leading more laps then on lap 54 it was Kyle Busch back in the lead again.  It took Brian around 12 laps to lead the back again.

Then it was Green flag pit stops again on lap 88.  After pit stops were over with it was Kyle Busch back in the lead with Brian Vickers in second.  With 21 left Brendan Gaughan blows a tire and brings out the caution.

The leaders pitted and Brad Keselowski won the race off pit road.  Justin Allgaier stayed out though to take the lead of the race.

With 12 laps the green flag dropped and Justin got a bad restart that cased Brian Vickers and Kyle Busch to move into the top two spots. On the next lap Justin Lofton spins out to bring out the caution.

With seven laps the green flag drops with Brian Vickers winning the lead of the race.  A couple laps later and Kyle was right behind Brian.  With four laps left Trevor Bayne blows a tire and the caution does not come out.

With two laps left Brian Vickers gets loose and winds up blocking Kyle Busch.  That move cause Brad Keselowski on the high side to make it three wide for the lead.  Brad was able to get the lead  as Kyle Busch moved it back to third place.  Brad was able to hold off Brian for the lead.

After the race a not so happy Kyle Busch parked his car in the car of Brian Vickers. He got out without his helmet and had a conversation with Brian.  Brian got out of his car with his helmet on started to confront Kyle.  A fight which could have occurred got broken up pretty quickly.

"I'm speechless," said Brad Keselowski. "I can't believe I won here."

"I thought we were racing for the win," said Brian Vickers.  He stated the he did not know that this was supposed to be the Kyle Busch show, stated that Kyle Busch got him loose, and that he did not know Brad was that close to him.

"He had no idea the 88 car was coming," said Kyle Busch.  He stated that his car was good on the long run.

"Our Discount Tire Ford was fast," said David Ragan.

After the end of the race Carl Edwards took a big hit in the points as he looses over 100 points to Kyle Busch. Carl is now over 325 points back of Kyle for the lead in points.
