Danica Patrick and more news...

Danica Patrick has met with the people at Hendrick to drive some ARCA and Narionwide Series races.

The catch fence at Talladegea is going to be 8 feet higher. This is in response to the Carl Edwards crash from earlier this year.

Hendrick Motorsports officials are going to figure out soon if Lance McGrew is going to stay on as crew chief for Dale Earnhardt Jr.

After the race this week the car of Tony Stewart and Kurt Busch went back for inspection.  They also wanted the cars of Mark Martin and Jimmie Johnson as well.

This Fox Sports.com link says that John Menard does not where Paul Menard is going to racing next year and that an RPM and Yates Racing merger null and voids his contract.

Got an email sent into me again on another Tony Stewart Ebay auction for a signed towel:

Piece of email:

The towel from Stewart's Nationwide Series win earlier this season at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway raised $1,025.  The towel he used in victory lane following the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race near Charlotte, N.C., went for $814.  The towel from Stewart's Sprint Cup win at Pocono (Pa.) Raceway, which was Stewart's first point-paying win as a driver/owner with Stewart-Haas Racing, went for $1,135.  The towel from Stewart's Sprint Cup win in July at Daytona went for $735.  The towel from Stewart's Sprint Cup win in August at the Watkins Glen (N.Y.) International road course went for $760.  And in a special auction, the Old Spice "Swagger" firesuit Stewart wore in the Sprint Cup Series' return visit to Pocono in August fetched $2,425.01.  Since 2006 when Old Spice began auctioning off Stewart's victory lane towels and other race-worn items, a total of $25,473.02 has been raised for charity.
