Nationwide Series Driver Preview....

This list all the cars I say have a good chance of going the full season this year.  This is a total of 17 cars with five of them being cars that will have multiple drivers in it this season.  Next up will be the small list of part time drivers.

1--James Buescher--Phoenix Racing
James had two nationwide Series starts in 2009 with a best finish of 11th place. He also had a full season in the truck series with three top tens and a 14th place finish in the points. Miccosukee Resort Gaming could be back with this team as the sponsor. The #1 car though in 2009 did a full season of racing with various drivers to an 11th place finish in the points with 14 top tens and one win. I say this car will get around 15 top tens in 2009 and finish 5-8th place in the points.

6--Ricky Stenhouse, Jr.--Roush Fenway Racing
Had only seven Nationwide Series starts in 2009 with one top ten. Is expected to go the whole season, but sponsorship has not been announced yet. The car in 2009 had a couple drivers in it where it picked up a couple wins and 20 top tens and finished 10th place in the points.

11--Brain Scott--Braun Racing

Brian had a full Truck Series season in 2009 where he finished 7th place in the points and had 13 top tens. His Nationwide Series was a short one with only seven starts and no top tens. AccoDoc Solutions should be one of the sponsors for this car. If it goes the full season it should finish around 8-11th place in the points with around 15 top tens.

12--Justin Allgaier--Penske Racing

Justin finished sixth place in the points in 2009 with 12 top tens in 2009. Verizon will be back as the sponsor. I say he can steel a win in 2010 and get around 15 top ten finishes. I say he finishes fourth to sixth place in the points.

16--Colin Braun--Roush Fenway
Colin Finished 5th place in the truck series points for 2009 with 14 top tens and one win. The 16 car had a few drivers in it where it finished ninth place in the points with 20 top tens and three wins. Con-Way Freight is going to be one of the sponsors for this car. I say Colin could steel a win in 2010. He will also get 15 top tens onto a fourth to six place finish in the standings.

18--Kyle Busch--Joe Gibbs Racing
Won the Nationwide Series championship in 2009 with a whopping 30 top tens and nine wins. Z-Line Designs, NOS Energy Drink, and Combos will sponsor this car. I say he goes the full season instead of the 22-24 races he has already on his schedule. I say he gets 7-10 more wins and 25-30 top tens onto a 2nd-3rd place finish in the standings.

20--Joey Logano, Denny Hamlin, Matt DiBenedetto--Joe Gibbs Racing
The car finished sixth place in the points with five wins and 18 top tens. Joey though in the 2009 Nationwide Series has 16 top ten and five wins. Denny Hamlin had seven Nationwide Series Starts in 2009 with only one top ten. Matt Had one Nationwide series start with no top tens, but in the Camping World East series in seven starts he had two wins. GameStop, SportClips, Pizza Ranch, and Interstate Batteries will sponsor this car. I say Denny will get at least 15 tops and three wins while he is in this car, Denny will get one win and five top tens while he in the car, and Matt will pull in one top 20 finish in his very limited race schedule in this car.

21-John Wes Townley--Richard Childress Racing
John had 26 starts in 2009 with no top tens. He is moving over to Richard Childress Racing with Zaxby's as a sponsor. I say he will be able to pull in 5-10 top tens with this team and if gets in a full season of racing he will finish 7-9th place in the points.

22--Brad Keselowski--Penske Racing

Brad leaves the 88 car that had 28 top tens and four wins over to the 22 car that was only in race last season and finished 16th. I say brad gets 25-30 top tens and a couple wins in 2010 he will finish second to third place in the points. Discount Tire will sponsor this car

24--Eric McClure--Team Rensi Motrosports
Eric comes back with Hefty as a sponsor for 2010. He finished 17th place in the points with no top tens. I can see him with five top tens in 2010 and finish 8-10th place in the standings.

33--Ron Hornaday, Kevin Harvick--KHI
Kevin Harvick had 22 Nationwide Series starts in 2009 with 16 top tens and a couple of wins for a 15th place finish in the points. Ron though had only 2 starts, but both of them were in the top ten. The car though finished fourth place in the points with a couple of wins and 25 top tens.

38--Kasey Kahne, Jason Leffler--Braun Racing
The car finished 8th place in the points in 2009 with 20 top tens and no wins. Jason Leffler picked off 20 top tens in 2009 with no wins . Kasey did no Nationwide Series racing last year. Great Clips will sponsor the car this year. I say Kasey gets a couple top tens in his fewer than 10 race schedule in this car while Jason could steel one win in this car and get 15-20 top tens in this car.

60--Carl Edwards--Roush Fenway
Carl finished the2009 season second place in the points with 5 wins and 30 top tens. Fastenal and Copart will sponsor the car this year. He will get at least 5 wins in 2010 and 30 more top tens on his way to winning the championship.

66--Steven Wallace--Rusty Wallce Racing
Steven had 9 top tens with no wins on his way to a seventh place finish in the standings. 5 Hour Energy will be back to sponsor this car. I feel he can get 10-15 top tens in 2010 with a shot at a win and finish 4-6th place in the standings.

88--Kelly Bires, Dale Earnhardt Jr.--JR Motorsports
In the 2009 Nationwide Series season he pulled in 3 top tens with no wins in 14 starts. Dale Earnhardt Jr. had only seven starts with four top tens and no wins. Hellman's will sponsor this car for the Daytona race with Dale driving it. I say the car does go a full season with Kelly getting a couple wins and 20 top tens and finished 3-5 place in the points. I say Dale finishes 10-20th place at the Dayton race in February.

98--Paul Menard--Roush Fenway Racing
He had 16 starts in 2009 with four top tens. Menards is supposed to sponsor him the whole season. I say he can get 12-16 top tens this year with no wins and finish 6-9th place in the points.

99--Trevor Bayne--Michael Waltrip Racing
Trevor had 15 starts in 2009 with 2 top tens onto a 32nd place finish in the standings. The car overall in a full season of racing had 10 top tens and finished 17th place in the points. Aarons will sponsor this car for some races this season. I say he gets 5-10 top tens and finish 8-11th place in the points.
