Brian Vickers, Jeremy Mayfield, And More

NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Director John Darby has approved the switch of Casey Mears for Brian Vickers for the All-Star Race. In a news release from the people at Red Bull Racing Jay Frye who is the Red Bull Racing general manager and vice president said:

"Given the extenuating circumstances we have dealt with this past week regarding Brian's health, we would like to thank NASCAR for their assistance and understanding of this unique situation by allowing us to compete in the all-star Race"

David Newton at ESPN though is reporting through a source that Brian will be out at least three months due to his blood clots. 

Jeremy Mayfield wound up getting his lawsuit thrown out  by U.S. District Court Judge Graham Mullen. 

Clint Boyer has picked up a three race probation by NASCAR today in the Nationwide Series for his hit on Denny Hamlin.

Marcos Ambrose is going to be having Cavalia as a sponsor for the All-Star Race.
