New Pizza Boxes Honor Richard Petty as an Inaugural Hall of Fame Inductee

NASHVILLE, TENN. (May 5, 2009) - In celebration of Richard Petty's upcoming induction to the NASCAR Hall of Fame, Hunt Brothers® Pizza has introduced a new pizza box, congratulating the racing legend. Richard Petty is one of five inaugural inductees to be honored on May 23 at the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, N.C., little more than a week after its grand opening.

"We're excited about honoring Richard Petty with his own commemorative pizza box," said Keith Solsvig, vice president of marketing for Hunt Brothers Pizza. "This is the first time that we have developed a pizza box honoring a legend like Richard Petty, and we are proud to sponsor the Hunt Brothers Pizza No. 19 Ford Fusion for Richard Petty Motorsports."

In addition to the new commemorative pizza box, Hunt Brothers will also be seen on the Charlotte Motor Speedway at the Sprint All-Star Race on May 22, with Elliot Sadler behind the wheel of the Hunt Brothers Pizza No. 19 Ford Fusion.

As part of the company's NASCAR involvement, Hunt Brothers Pizza will be available at a number of NASCAR events throughout the month, including the King's Cup Karting for a Cause on May 25, which raises funds and awareness for Paralyzed Veterans of America. On May 27, Hunt Brothers will provide pizza for Richard Petty Motorsports Fan Appreciation Day.
