Dover Weekend Thoughts
The action was hot in both races. I say we would have had a side by side finish for the Sunday race it Jimmie Johnson did not blow it with a speeding penalty.
Although Jimmie blew the race it really did not impact him that much in the standings though.
The only thing that saved Martin Truex Jr. from a bad finish was his starting spot.
It was nice to see David Reutimann have a nice finish for once.
Clint Boyer blew it on the Saturday race, but I liked it that he booted Denny Hamlin out of the way.
If I was Red Bull Racing I would let Casey Mears drive in the All-Star Event even if Brian is cleared by NASCAR to race. Just too risky imo to send Brian out in a race where no points are on the line.
