Joe Gibbs Gets The Owner's Championship

The Nationwide series drivers are back for the final time this season to add a win on their resume. The only thing left undecided is the owner's championship with Joe Gibbs and Rodger Penske as the top two drivers fighting for the award.

Danica Patrick though finally had a solid qualifying effort as she qualified in fifth place.

The green flag drops and Danica winds up slowly dropping backwards as Kyle Busch leads laps. The caution though comes out on alp 11 as Jeremy Clements spins out. Danica and few other cars come down pit road for service.

Another short green flag occurs and it was Jeremy Clements getting together withy Joe Nemechek to bring out the next caution. This caution brought in the leaders, but Danica stays out this time. The green flag drops and we get another short green flag run until lap 30. The caution comes out for the cars of Carl Edwards, Aric Almirola, and Kasey Kahne that get together. Edwards though did not get much damage at all from this.

"Allgaier lost it to me," said Kasey Kahne. "Great Clips car was fast."

Joey Logano at the drop of the green flag on lap 37 was the leader of the race. A few laps later at 42 it was Eric McClure crashing for the next caution. After the green flag drops again Kevin Harvick and Kyle Busch get to lead laps. Green flag racing was not long this time and it was Michael Annett spinning out. This caution brought in the leaders and Kevin Harvick won the race off pit road.

The green flag flies this time and we get in a good green flag run this time. At lap 68 Kevin Harvick looses the lead back to Kyle Busch. He finally keeps the lead until the first debris caution comes out at lap 92. The caution also brought in the leaders and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. wins the race off pit road due to not taking any tires. It was only a short green flag run again as another debris caution came out on lap 101.

This lead to another good green flag run With Kevin Harvick and Kyle Busch fight over the lead of the race. Kyle Busch gets to keep it at lap 112 and starts to pull out into a 1 second plus lead. His lead goes as Trevor Bayne hits the wall. The leaders pit and Kyle Busch wins the race off pit road.

Green flag racing begins again another short green flag run occurs and at lap 149 Brian Keslowski brings out the next caution as he blows a tire.

With 40 laps left the caution comes out for Colin Braun and his car. This brought down a bunch of cars down pit road for service. Kyle Busch restarts the race in the lead and then Kevin Harvick gets hot and takes the lead of the race. With 27 laps left Chase Mattoli crashes the wall hard. The caution brought in some other cars down pit road for service.

The green flag drops with 23 laps left as Kevin and Kyle do more fighting for the race lead. Kyle wins the war and breaks out into a small lead as the laps wind down. Kyle went on to celebrate his 13th Nationwide Series win this season and the win also picked up the owners championship for Joe Gibbs.

Brad Keselowski though broke a Kyle Busch record getting his 26th top five place finish this year.

"This Toyota was fast," said Kyle Bsuch. "We got a new priority next year."

Trevor Bayne said it was exciting to bring the car home with a top five finish.

Kevin Harvick stated that he was "terrible tight" at the end of the race.

"A lot of positives," said Danica Patrick. She stated though she was not happy at all that she could not get passed the 09 car. Danica throughout the race was around the 20th place in the field and finished the race in nineteenth spot.

"It's really cool," said Ricky Stenhouse Jr. on winning the rookie of the year honors.
