All Hendrick Front Row For Daytona 500

Crew chief changes at Hendick Motorsports worked over the off-season as two Hendrick Motorsports drivers got the only two spots that will not change after the Thursday races.

"Had a great car today," said Dale Earnhardt Jr. who is the poll sitter for the race.  It his first poll for the Daytona 500. The other driver to get a front row starting spot was Jeff Gordon.

Denny Hamlin though started out his 2011 qualifying year on a sour note as his car just went left after leaving pit road and into the grass. It destroyed his tape job on the front of the car. He was able to get the car out of the grass though, but his qualifying lap was really poor. "It just locked," said Denny Hamlin on his car.

Paul Menard stated that he had an awsome race car today.

Mark Martin stated his run a little bit disapointing.

"Had a good run," stated Tony Stewart.

"Can't thank my team enough," said Trevor Bayne.

Steve Walace stated that he got a 2-tenths pickup from practice, but it is not as fast as he wanted it to be.
