B Test Results Are Back
A.J. Allmendinger has now been suspended indefinitely by NASCAR as his B sample has test positive. Sam Hornish Jr. will be the driver this weekend at Brickyard.
Penske Racing is out with comments on A.J. Allmendinger failing his B test. Sam Hornish Jr. will also be racing at Pocono in the #22 car.
A.J. Allmendinger is also out with comments on his failed B test and will start immediately in the Road to Recovery program.
Kenny Wallace has been docked six points due to a car that meet minimum weight requirements after the end of the race in Chicago. The crew chief has been fined 10 grand and has been put on probation until September 5th.
My thoughts on the A.J. Allmendinger mess.
I feel A.J. has to come out at least once now to confront the media on this matter. NASCAR will not say what drug did him in, but I think A.J. needs to come fully clean. A.J. is in a very tough situation at this moment. His career is on hold. His job at Penske looks over, His Sprint Cup career looks dead for a while. He will land a ride with another team for sure, but I think he will need to move down to truck series for a couple of years to build up his worth for a Sprint Cup ride. His chance at a really good ride look over for him for the rest of his career.
