Kyle Dominates Once Again At Texas

Kyle Busch 2013 Texas.jpgRookie Alex Bowman picked of the poll for the first Friday night race of the season at Texas.

"I'm pretty sick," said Alex Bowman.

"I think we have a good car here tonight," said Kyle Larson.

Alex Bowman started out the race leading some laps as Sam Hornish Jr. got hot. Sam was able to get the race lead at lap 5. Brad Keselwoski was the next driver to get hot and started to chase down Sam. It took until lap 23 for Brad to get the race lead. On the next laps though it was caution time as Robert Richardson spins out. The caution brought in the leaders and it was and Kyle Busch won the race off pit road.

After the race restarted Kyle Busch was leading laps. The green flag racing though came to an end on lap 42 as Kyle Larson spins out right before the start/finish line. During the caution break Kyle tried to stay on the lead lap by doing a two tire stop and wound up blowing out a tire and then almost wound up taking out a truck cleaning up the track.

This green flag run wound being another short one and at lap 66 a debris caution came out. The leaders pitted and Brad Keselwoski won the race off pir road as he took no tires. After the green flag dropped Sam Hornish Je. get the best of the restart and the race lead. Kasey Kahne though who had fresh tires was able to get race lead on lap 73. The green flag racing ended on lap 92 for debris again.

This caution brought in the leaders except for Matt Kenseth. A whole bunch of cars wound up taking no tires, but leader Kasey Kahne did.

After the green flag dropped Kyle Busch and Kasey Kahne easily marched their way to the front of the field. Kahne got the lead at alp 110 while Kyle Busch got the lead at 115. With 80 laps laps Landon Cassill was slowing up big time as Robert Richardson brings out the caution again as he spun out in the grass.

The leaders pitted and Sam Hornish Jr. won the race off pit road as Matt Kenseth picked up a speeding penalty on pit road. After the race restarted Brad Keselowski was easily able to get the race lead. It was a short green flag run and lap 134 it was Dexter Stacy spinning out for the next caution. The caution brought in only a few cars down pit road for service. The green flag drops and it lasts for only one lap as Sam Hornish Jr. and Jeremy Clements get together by the Start/Finish line.

This caution brought in some cars for service. Kyle Busch started to lead laps as the green flag laps continued to go down. Around 40 laps left and Trevor Bayne and his car was over heating big time. The green flag racing came to an end with 33 laps left for debris. This caution brought in the leaders and Kyle Busch won the race off pit road.

The race restarted with 29 laps left and Kyle Busch easily got the race lead. Kyle wound up breaking out to a one second plus lead as we had the longest green flag run of the night. Kyle went on to win his fourth Nationwide Series race of the season.

"The monster Energy Camery was flawless," said Kyle Busch.

"The cautions weren't falling the way we needed them to," said Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Sam Hornish Jr. stated that he did not know what happened. His big lead fell down big time down to 2 points.
