Matt Kenseth and his engine from Kansas did not pass a post race inspection due to a steel connecting rod that did not meet proper weight requirements.

The fine is a whopping 200,000 for this one bad part.

A six race suspension which includes the All-star race for Crew Chief Jason Ratcliff.

The poll position time is thrown out which was the only poll so far this season for Matt Kenseth.

The three bonus points he would of had for the chase if he did make it get dumped.

A whopping 50 point penalty for both Matt Kenseth and Joe Gibbs.

Joe Gibbs Racing says the bad part came from a vendor.

Also this week Johnny Sauter has picked up a penalty from his Truck Series race for a bad fuel cell.

Mike Curb and Johnny Sauter have picked up a 25 point fine.

The crew Chief has picked up a 10 grand fine and has been placed on probation until the end of the year.

In some other NASCAR news both the tracks at Talladega and Daytona are going to be reinforcing the cross-over gates at the race track.
