Blount's Punch Was No-Good for NCAA

For Oregon running back LaGarrette Blount, last Thursday was not a good night.

Not only did he rush for -5 yards on 8 carries, but he made headlines throughout the sporting landscape by punching a Boise State player following their Week 1 loss.

It was a crushing moment not only for Oregon fans. Not only for Pac-10 fans. But for the NCAA as a whole. The NCAA prides themselves on emotion, passion, and sportsmanships within the athletic programs. 

It was, without a doubt, a terrible start to the college football year.

I was just happy to see him get suspened for his senior season. His chances for the NFL have dropped substantially, and deservedly so.
