Stephen Curry went off against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden, sinking 11 threes and tallying up and NBA season-high 54 points. Unfortunately for Golden State, the Knicks spoiled Curry's party by winning 109-105. New York's Tyson Chandler had a big night, too, with 28 rebounds and 16 points.
The Chiefs made a big(?) move to acquire Alex Smith of the San Francisco 49ers. Kansas City handed out a 2013 second-round pick for the quarterback. Stephen Curry scored 54 points, including these 11 three-pointers:
Also... Penn State got its first Big Ten win--an upset of no. 4 Michigan.
No. 7 Georgetown escaped double OT against UConn with a seven-point comeback in the last two minutes.
And Texas' Myck Kabongo hit a ridiculous buzzer-beater to tie Oklahoma, and the Longhorns won in overtime.
