Lamar Odom has had a very successful NBA career. Just last year he won the Sixth Man Award while averaging 14.4 points and 8.7 rebounds for the Lakers. This season, his numbers have plummeted. He’s averaging career lows in nearly all statistical categories including points, rebounds, assists and field goal percentage. And yet, he might even get more attention than last year’s Finals MVP, teammate Dirk Nowitzki.
This season has been full of drama for Odom. It started with being traded by the Lakers to the Mavericks, then he was criticized for being out of shape. He missed games for personal reasons and rumors floated around that coach Rick Carlisle was fed up and might send him to the D-League as punishment. He has been booed by the fans in Dallas.
But the one thing that has kept him in the headlines of both sports and celebrity publications has been his non-stop soap opera with wife Khloe Kardashian. Their relationship is on full display in the reality TV series, "Khloe and Lamar." The public can’t get enough of all things Kardashian even when many would consider it a little too much information.
