San Diego is less-than 20 miles from Mexico and lucky for us, the influence of Mexican culture has invaded the Padres’ Petco Park.

There may be nothing more American than a hot dog at a baseball game, but there’s definitely something more delicious.  The Sonoran hot dog is wrapped in bacon, stuffed with onions, tomatoes, and pinto beans, and served on a potato bun, then topped with mustard, ketchup, mayonnaise, and of course – jalapeno sauce. You had us at bacon.
