Jack Morris - Signed by Minnesota in 1991, one year, $3.7 million.

The Twins signed him to be a big-game pitcher for them, and he delivered. He went 4-0 in the postseason, including a 10-inning 1-0 victory over Atlanta in Game 7 of the 1991 World Series. The contract included a second year, at Morris's option, at $3.65 million; he opted out and moved on to Toronto for two years and just under $10 million.
