This graph depicts the number of teams from each conference ranked in the top 25 by both the AP and the USA Today Coaches Poll.  The AP Poll has a 6th SEC team (Alabama) and a 3rd Big East team (Pittsburgh).  In their place the USA Today Poll ranks a 5th Big Team (Michigan), and one WAC team (Fresno State).


SEC ranked teams - Georgia (1 Ap, 1 USA Today), LSU (7, 6), Auburn (10, 11), Tennessee (18, 18), and Alabama (24, NR)

Big 12 ranked teams - Oklahoma (4, 4), Missouri (6, 7), Texas (11, 10), Texas Tech (12, 14), and Kansas (14, 13)

Big Ten ranked teams - Ohio St. (2, 3), Wisconsin (12, 13), Illinois (20,19), Penn St. (22, 22), and Michigan (NR, 24)

Pac-10 ranked teams - USC (3, 2), Arizona St. (15, 16), and Oregon (21, 20)

ACC ranked teams - Clemson (9, 9), Virginia Tech (17, 15), and Wake Forest (23, 23)

Big East ranked teams - West Virginia (8, 8), South Florida (19, 21), and Pittsburgh (25, NR)

Mountain West ranked teams - BYU (16, 17)

WAC ranked teams - Fresno St. (NR, 25)
