Current NBA Players (13): Shane Battier (Grizzlies - pictured), Carlos Boozer (Bulls), Elton Brand (76ers), Luol Deng (Bulls), Chris Duhon (Magic), Mike Dunleavy (Pacers), Gerald Henderson (Bobcats), Grant Hill (Suns), Dahntay Jones (Pacers), Corey Maggette (Bucks), Josh McRoberts (Pacers), J.J. Redick (Magic), Shelden Williams (Knicks)

It’s no surprise that Duke is near the top of this list. Under Mike Krzyzewski, Duke has won four national championships, gone to 11 Final Fours, and been routinely one of the top teams in college basketball. However, for a long time Kyzyzewksi’s Duke teams, despite being an elite programs and producing nine Naismith Award winners, failed to produce star talent at the next level.

The first breakthrough NBA star from Coach K’s Duke teams was Hill - who was on track to become the post-Jordan face of the league before ankle injuries slowed him down. Hill is still contributing in the NBA, now at the age of 38, and he is joined by a slew of other Blue Devils. While they might not have the top-flight star power of some schools ranked lower on this list, they make up for it with a staggering amount of contributing role players.

Under Coach K Duke has produced 21 first-round draft picks. Expect up to three more Dukies to join this list come Thursday, with Kyrie Irving likely going first overall and seniors Nolan Smith and Kyle Singler teetering on the late-first, early-second round line.
