These are just some of the brilliant predictions made by sports columnists throughout the year of 2011. Yeah, we know, since we're in the business of finding the best and brightest in sportswriting every single day, all of these prognostications appeared in RealClearSports at some point last year.

Now it's time for us to issue corrections on their behalf. Most scribes won't hesitate to brag when they were right about something but offer only either stone silence or change the subject when they turned out to be dead wrong.
