Peyton Manning is a ham that can’t turn down a commercial spot. He’s been in ads for Sprint, Sony, MasterCard, DirecTV, Xbox, Double Stuffed Oreos, and SportsCenter, among others. But the great thing about Manning is he can poke fun at himself.

When he hosted Saturday Night Live, he said he’d accomplished two of his life-long goals: winning a Super Bowl, and appearing in half of all of America’s TV commercials. Though that wasn’t the funniest part of his SNL episode -- who can forget the United Way spot? Nailing kids with footballs? Teaching them how to break into cars? Hilarious.

But Manning proved he’s more than just a funny spokesman last summer. In Hawaii, he decided to pull a little prank on first-time Pro Bowler Jay Cutler. He recruited a couple of big guys to toss the newbie into the pool. What Manning didn’t know was Cutler is a diabetic, and had his blood-sugar monitor on him. Whoops.

Maybe you should just stick to commercials, Peyton.
