5. Angel Matos
Angel Matos should be getting a big lump of coal this year, but heads up to whoever gives it to him - you might get kicked in the face.
The Cuban Taekwando Olympian did just that to the last person who ruled against him when he kicked referee Chakir Chelbatin in the face after he was disqualified for taking too much injury time during his bronze medal match. After the DQ, Matos angrily questioned the call, pushed a judge, then pushed and kicked the referee. Matos then spat on the floor and was escorted out.
Nothing portrays the spirit of competition and sportsmanship associated with the Olympics like a swift kick to the face. Although, in Matos’ defense, the kick was in perfect form.
