We start our list with the Godfather of all Coaches’ Tirades – Bobby Knight. 

Practically every one of his press conferences could have been included on our list (hence the reason for it being relatively low), so consider this particular gem a representation of his full body of work, as it shows Knight’s general combativeness, even with an NCAA volunteer like Rance Pugmire. 

Following a 65-60 loss to Missouri in the opening round of the NCAA tournament in 1995, Pugmire told the press that Knight would not be attending that conference, when in fact the truth was that he was only running a few minutes behind.  When Knight learned that someone had incorrectly spoke on his behalf, he became, well, himself.
