With Truman, the 33rd president, “The buck stops here.”  Apparently so too did any athletic skill. 

Truman, often described as folksy and unassuming, was never much for sports growing up.  Instead, he spent most of his time with music, even waking up at 5 a.m. every day to practice the piano.  Additionally, his eyesight was 20/50 in one eye and 20/400 in the other, assumingly making it difficult to see anything, let alone hit a baseball or catch a football.
