This Cardinals' quarterback became the answer to a Jeopardy question in May.

"Who is Matt Leinart?" That’s correct!

So, how could that be so bad? Well, here’s the question:

Leinart made headlines when this photo spread like wildfire across the Internet.

Everyone questioned whether the former first-round pick was dedicated and grown-up enough to be a starting quarterback. This was the beginning of a QB controversy throughout the off-season for the Cardinals.

In the all-important third preseason game, Leinart completed 7 of 12 passes. Unfortunately, the Raiders caught three of those passes. The more experienced Kurt Warner was given the starting job in Week 1, but given his tendency to get injured, it seemed like it would be only temporary. The golden boy from Southern California would eventually take over. Now that looks very unlikely.

Warner is playing like the MVP he was back in 2001 and Leinart is stuck carrying the clipboard on the sideline. He must be kicking himself for not being able to make it work with the best duo (Boldin and Fitzgerald) and probably trio (throw in Steve Breaston) of receivers in the NFL.
