Steve Rogers - SP - 1974 N.L.

Ever wondered what a 15-22 record and a 4.47 ERA might get you?  Well, if you were Steve Rogers, it would be an All-Star selection.  In just his second season, Rogers made his first All-Star team, and the baseball world is still trying to figure out how he did it.  During the first-half of the season, Rogers was just 10-11 with a 4.63 ERA, and allowed 151 hits in only 149.2 innings pitched.  When you look at his career stats, 1974 was actually one of Rogers' worst seasons, which made his status as an All-Star all the more surprising.
