These are heady days for undrafted free agents. Forty-seven undrafted players made an NFL roster in 2013, and the Seahawks just won the Super Bowl with a roster containing 21 players who began their careers as free agents. The sheer magnitude of the draft - three days, seven rounds, 256 selections - ensures that mistakes will be made, including overlooking a future superstar.

For a while it seemed this year's most notable undrafted free agent would be Missouri's Michael Sam, until the St. Louis Rams selected him eight picks from the end. Not so for quarterback Connor Shaw, who watched the draft come and go without hearing his name called. In his senior season at South Carolina, Shaw threw for 24 touchdowns against just one interception and led the Gamecocks to an 11-2 record, a Capital One Bowl win and a final AP ranking of No. 4. After the draft, he signed with the Browns, where he'll have a chance to compete with Johnny Manziel, Cleveland's third first-round pick (22nd overall).

Shaw, or any of the other free agents from this draft, could become a star. That's all in the future, though. For now, here's a look at the Top 10 Undrafted Players in NFL History.
