Police are investigating a woman’s claim that actor Cuba Gooding Jr., 51, groped her at a New York City club Sunday night.

The unnamed 30-year-old told authorities that the actor touched her inappropriately at the Magic Hour Rooftop Bar and Lounge on 7th Avenue in Midtown, Page Six reported.

The alleged victim called 911 around 1 a.m. after the “highly intoxicated” actor reportedly grabbed her breast while they were socializing, leading to an argument that had to be broken up by security.

Video footage showed Gooding leaving the club shortly after the woman made the 911 call. Responding cops did not find the actor at the scene, and referred the case to the NYPD Special Victims Division, which is investigating a potential forcible touching charge. People confirmed the case is currently under investigation, and no arrests had been made as of Monday night.

A witness told Page Six that the actor appeared “happy” prior to the incident, chatting and singing with fellow partygoers. According to the outlet, social media posts from the night showed the actor in a torn shirt belting out a lively rendition of Journey’s “Faithfully” into a microphone.

Sunday night’s incident isn’t Gooding’s first brush with eyebrow-raising nightlife behavior. As Page Six notes, the actor took a notable spin on the Miami party circuit back in 2016, when the shirtless partier was caught pulling down his pants, shoving a phone in his mouth and getting “beyond frisky with girls.”

The actor has yet to comment on the incident.
