Jets vs. Lions

Matthew Stafford returned for the Lions and nearly led his team to a win over the Jets. An injury to kicker Jason Hanson proved to be the difference. He was injured on a field goal attempt that was flagged for roughing the passer and the Lions were able to score on the drive. But with Hanson out, the Lions turned to rookie 300-pound Ndamukong Suh to kick the extra point and he just missed to the right. Lions tied it up with a last-second field goal in regulation and won it with another field goal in OT.
