Matt Forte led the Bears with 25 carries for 97 yards and a touchdown as Chicago topped Miami, 16-0. Injuries to Chad Pennington and Chad Henne left the Dolphins with Tyler Thigpen, their third-string quarterback, yet the coaching staff passed 29 times against just 13 rushes, and the Dolphins' offense stumbled to just 187 total yards. Brandon Marshall left the game in the second quarter after re-injuring his right hamstring, and his only true play of note was a taunting penalty he received for flipping the ball at former teammate Jay Cutler. The Bears earned their seventh win of the season in victory while Miami fell to 5-5 and just 1-4 at home.
