Own Goal Gives Rapids MLS Title

Colorado's Macoumba Kandji took a cross from Conor Casey, played the ball through the legs of the Dallas defender, and struck the ball lightly with his left foot. Unfortunately for FC Dallas, the ball caromed off of George John's thigh and into his net for an own goal. John's accidental deflection broke a 1-1 tie in the 107th minute and provided the difference in the game as Colorado won its first MLS title by the final score of 2-1.
