Niners Beat Hapless Cardinals

This Monday night match-up between two of the worst teams in the league lived up to its minimal expectations. Though Frank Gore was injured early and missed most of the game, the 49ers topped the Cardinals, 27-6. Brian Westbrook ran for 136 yards and a touchdown in Gore's stead as San Francisco improved to 4-7 and pulled within one game of first place in the putrid NFC West.
