Capitals Robbed of Game-Tying Goal

Alex Ovechkin was hit with an interference call in the final ten seconds of the third period which nullified defenseman John Carlson's game-tying goal. Ovechkin was called for pushing the Stars' defender into his goalkeeper and illegally obstructing the play. The goal was disallowed and Washington fell to Dallas 2-1.
