Despite six double figure scorers and an unbelievable dunk by J.R. Smith (0:16), the Nuggets could not top the Western Conference-leading Spurs. San Antonio was powered by a throwback performance from Tim Duncan (28 points, 16 rebounds) and his two star teammates. Tony Parker added 24 points while Manu Ginobili hit a late runner to put the Spurs ahead by one, then took a charge to negate Carmelo Anthony's game-winning bucket as San Antonio won, 113-112.
