Ryan Nassib threw for 239 yards and three touchdowns, Marcus Sales hauled in five passes for 172 of those yards and all three scores, and Delone Carter carried the ball 27 times for 198 yards and two touchdowns as Syracuse topped Kansas State in this back and forth contest, 36-34. The Wildcats were hampered by an unconscionable unsportsmanlike conduct flag that forced them to try for the final two points from 18 yards away. The pass fell incomplete, the onside kick failed, and the Orange triumphed.
