After taking a 14-0 lead into halftime, the Packers had to hold off a rally from the host Bears. Chicago was able to narrow the gap to 21-14 but could not make it all the way back. Jay Cutler left the game early in the third quarter with a knee injury, and his replacement Todd Collins was ineffective. Third-string quarterback Caleb Haynie brought the Bears back into contention; however, Green Bay secured the game and a trip to Super Bowl XLV, 21-14.
