Djokovic Defeats Federer

Early Thursday morning, third-seeded Novak Djokovic knocked off Roger Federer. Djokovic's 7-6, 7-5, 6-4 win meant that neither Federer nor Rafael Nadal (who lost to fellow Spaniard David Ferrer) would win the Australian Open for the first time since 2008.
