From the First Four to the Final Four: VCU's five wins are perhaps the most improbable run in tournament history. After pundits crushed the team saying they didn't deserve to even make the field, VCU went out and proved everyone wrong. No win was more emphatic than their demolition of top-seeded Kansas. The Rams jumped out to an 18-point first half lead and though the Jayhawks would later cut it to two, VCU never faltered. Jamie Skeen scored 26 points and grabbed ten rebounds and the Rams nailed 12 of 25 threes to advance to their first Final Four, 71-61.
