In what was an ugly offensive game, UConn came out on top. The Huskies shot just 34.5 percent from the floor; however, that was nearly double the rate of their opponent, Butler. The Bulldogs could muster just 41 points on a paltry 18.8 percent shooting, the worst in tournament history. As usual, Kemba Walker led the Huskies, this time with 16 points. Jeremy Lamb added 12 (all in the second half) as UConn went on a 20-3 run to start the period. In the end, the only number that matters is one - Connecticut's final rank as your 2011 National Champion.
