After a Kobe Bryant three-pointer tied the game with 16 seconds left, all the Lakers had to do was play defense to force overtime. Instead, Bryant fouled Hayward with six seconds left and, though he missed the first, Hayward canned the second free throw as Utah defeated Los Angeles, 86-85. Hayward finished with a career-high 22 points and Paul Millsap matched that in leading the Jazz.
