Pittsburgh Holds On, Defeats Tampa Bay

Two early goals gave the Penguins the lead and though the Lightning would fight back, Pittsburgh prevailed in the end. Tampa Bay briefly tied the game on a third period power play, but Pittsburgh regained the lead for good just 30 seconds later. With the 3-2 win, the Penguins seized a 2-1 series lead.
