Leading by just two at the half, Dallas outscored Los Angeles by ten in the second as they went on to defeat the Lakers, 93-81. Dirk Nowitzki led all scorers with 24 points as the Mavs wrested home court advantage from the Lakers to take a 2-0 lead.
