Having already broken his racket earlier in the match, Roddick hit the ball into the stands after a double fault. The umpire immediately punished Roddick with a penalty point. Andy tried to reason with the umpire but to no avail. Roddick lost the match to Phillip Kohlschreiber, 6-7 7-5 6-1.
