Panthers, Cam Newton Fall Short vs. Cardinals

Despite breaking the record for yardage by a QB in his rookie debut, Cam Newton and the Panthers come up short against the Cardinals. Newton threw for 422 yards, throwing for 2 touchdowns and running for another. But on the final drive for the Panthers, on fourth down, Mike Goodson came up one yard short of the first down with 1:15 remaining. Cardinals win, 28-21.
