Shaughnessy: Rays Won't Win Tonight

During the rain delay between the Orioles and Red Sox, columnist/analyst Dan Shaughnessy said, "I think the Rays are not going to win tonight. I think that the one thing we've eliminated tonight is the Red Sox season is not going to end tonight. They live to play another day ... the worst thing that could happen is you have to play that game in Tampa tomorrow." The proclamation was understable given that the Rays were down 7-0 at that point. But for those Boston fans that hate Shaughnessy, this just adds fuel to that fire.
